Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full time in person SLPA contract in Halrom, TX runs for the 20252026 school year, with a portion being coverage for a maternity leave from mid?October through January. You'll serve a caseload of about 55 students, many with autism and complex communication needs, in a brand?new building supported by experienced staff and a Lead SLP.

Caseload: Mix of general education and special education students with articulation, language, and complex communication needs; large portion of students using AAC systems like LAMP and Touch Chat
Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services under supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Support students with AAC systems, articulation, and language interventions
-
Collaborate with the Lead SLP and on?site SLP for ongoing support and planning

Maintain accurate documentation and assist with IEP implementation
-
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student goal development
Requirements

Bachelors degree as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Active Texas SLPA License
-
Certificate in Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Familiarity with AAC systems such as LAMP and Touch Chat
